Details
Science Orbit is my main focus: a preprint-first open science platform built around immediate publishing, transparent review, public version history, replication evidence, AI-assisted comprehension, and merit-based researcher reputation.
Traditional journals often slow down access with paywalls and opaque review. Science Orbit flips the model: publish first, review in public, revise openly, and let reputation grow from useful contributions.
The platform uses Next.js App Router, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, Prisma, NextAuth.js, optional ORCID sign-in, optional OpenAI features, S3/R2-compatible storage, Nodemailer email flows, and production health checks. It includes publishing routes, paper pages, reviews, replications, datasets, topics, research graph, feeds, export APIs, admin moderation, and profile tools.
Science Orbit is designed to make science easier to publish, understand, evaluate, and reproduce without hiding core research behind paywalls.
